Follow-up spacing, auto-reply delays and the one-contact-per-company rule are set once for the whole workspace on the Campaign Settings tab. Every AI agent inherits them, and none of them can be overridden on a single agent.

Update access to Campaign Settings update-companies. Admin have it by default.
If you cannot find this in your sidebar, your workspace may have a custom menu configuration. Contact support and we will check it for you.
The tab is a stack of cards, each collapsed to a single header row until you click it. Outreach Languages comes first (it restricts which languages outreach is written in, and is not covered here), then One contact per company, Follow-up Timing, Auto-Reply Delay and LinkedIn Automation. Follow-up Timing, Auto-Reply Delay and LinkedIn Automation share one pattern: a switch on the card header decides whether the workspace uses a custom value or the system default. With that switch off, opening the card shows a single line naming the default in force. Switch it on and the card opens itself into editable controls. Nothing takes effect until you click Save. Switching a section back off and saving reverts the workspace to the system default outright. It does not just hide the numbers you typed.

One contact per company

A switch on this card decides how an agent works through the people at one company. Unlike the sections below it, this switch is the setting itself rather than a custom-values toggle: flipping it changes the rule directly, and it saves with everything else when you click Save. Open the card to read which of the two lines above applies to you right now.

Follow-up timing

The window is a range rather than a fixed cadence: the wait actually used is taken from somewhere inside it instead of landing on the same number every time, so the pattern does not read as automated. Leave the switch off and the card’s body is one line: “Using system defaults: 4-7 days between follow-ups, max 3 emails”. Turn it on and those same two values become a slider and a number field, each clamped to the range the tab allows. The days are one slider with two handles, so the minimum can never be pushed past the maximum. An info icon beside Maximum Follow-ups Per Lead explains the second field on hover: “After this many follow-up attempts without response, the lead will be marked as closed.”

Auto-reply delay

Leave the switch off and the card’s body is one line: “Using system defaults: 5-12 minutes delay before auto-reply”. Inside the card, a second switch (separate from the one on the header) turns automatic replies off altogether. Inbound messages are still read and the lead’s record still updates; the agent just never sends a reply on its own. Turn it on and the timing sliders grey out and stop taking input, and the card adds a line saying the timing settings are unused. LinkedIn Automation sits below this card on the same custom-or-default switch, with its own invitation-withdrawal window, message cap per lead, days between follow-ups, and reply delay, the last of those in seconds rather than minutes.

Where this shows up on an agent

An agent’s own Settings tab sets none of this timing. Under Message format there is a banner, Customize Campaign General Settings, pointing at the workspace settings instead; its Configure Settings button opens this tab directly.

Resting days, sending windows and deferrals

The per-mailbox timing this tab doesn’t touch: why a healthy sender still sits out a send.
