Connect a Hostinger-hosted mailbox so your agents can send and receive from it. Hostinger is not one of the providers that needs an app password, so the wizard asks for the mailbox address and the mailbox’s own password.

If you cannot find this in your sidebar, your workspace may have a custom menu configuration. Contact support and we will check it for you.

Before you begin

  • The mailbox address, and the password you use to sign in to that mailbox.
  • IMAP switched on for the mailbox. Verification tests receiving as well as sending, and it stops if it cannot read the inbox.

Connect the mailbox

1

Open the provider list

Go to , choose Add senders, then Connect your email.Gmail and Outlook lead as two cards of their own; every other provider is in the grid below, under All providers (1). Choose Hostinger there.
2

Enter the address and the sender name

Email address is the mailbox you are connecting. Sender name is what recipients see in the “From” field; it starts as the name on your own account, so change it if that is not how you want this mailbox to sign. Both are required before the wizard will move on.
3

Enter the password

The field is labelled Email password: the one you sign in to the mailbox with, not a separate code.Underneath it, the wizard prints the SMTP host, port and security it is about to use. Edit opens a Server settings step with the SMTP and IMAP fields, if you want to read or change them; taking it adds that step to the wizard rather than replacing one.The same values, laid out in full:
4

Verify the connection

Choose Verify connection. The check runs by itself from there: we open a real connection for both sending and receiving, because a mailbox that can send but not receive would never see a reply. The account is only saved once both pass.

What happens next

The wizard finishes on a confirmation panel carrying the address you connected, and Done closes it. The mailbox is then on the Email Accounts page as Active.
A brand-new mailbox does not start sending campaigns at full volume, and for its first weeks it may send none at all. That is deliberate: sending too much too early from a fresh mailbox is what gets addresses filtered. See Smart Daily Limit for how the daily number is worked out, and The quarantine and ramp-up for new mailboxes for what to expect in the first month.

Troubleshooting

The wizard reports this as “That password didn’t work”: the address and password together were rejected, so check both. Choose Re-enter password (it puts you back on the password step with everything else you typed still there) and type the password again. A leading or trailing space fails exactly like a wrong password.
Sending works only when we can also read replies, and IMAP access looks turned off for this mailbox. Open your Hostinger mailbox settings, find the IMAP section (some providers call it external access), turn it on, then choose Try again.
A connected mailbox is not the same as a sending one. The most common reasons are that the agent’s outreach is still paused, or the mailbox is new and still warming up. Work through My agent isn’t sending anything, which goes over the reasons in the order worth checking.
