How it behaves
Four states, and only two of them get a button
Every row is in one of four states, and the icon is the whole story.
A row that is done or spinning never shows a button, because there is nothing for you to do on it. Two rows, the ones only the agent can finish, have no button in any state.
The explanation is a tooltip
The row itself shows only the icon, the title and the button. Hover the title and the one-line explanation appears beside it. Read it before you act on a row. When a row’s button changes, its explanation changes with it.What completes each row
Four of those rules are worth spelling out, because the row can look wrong when it is right.
Sending channel connected is not satisfied by the setting that rotates across every email account in the workspace. If the workspace has no email account, the agent is rotating across nothing, and the row stays amber. That is the state an agent created for you at signup starts in: nothing sends until an email account exists and outreach is resumed, which is two rows, not one.
Senders healthy judges only the accounts this agent can actually use: every account in the workspace when the agent rotates across all of them, otherwise just the ones picked for it. An account in an error state somewhere else in the workspace does not turn this row amber.
Sourcing running is not a claim that companies are arriving this minute. It counts a source that is active, and it counts a source that has stopped for the day after reaching its daily company limit. That one starts again the next day, so the row stays green and offers no button while it waits. A queued source that has not started yet does not count. The row also goes green when every source on the agent has finished, because there is nothing left for those sources to do.
Goal configured looks at one field, and which field depends on the goal you chose: a meeting goal needs its meeting link, a WhatsApp goal a phone number, a website goal the URL, a custom goal its text.
A missing channel and a missing goal destination are the only two problems that also put a red dot on the Settings tab.
The checklist says senders where the sidebar says Email Accounts. They are the same thing: the mailboxes this workspace sends from.
When sourcing stops, the button changes with the reason
Sourcing running is the one row whose button is not fixed. When no source is running, the row asks for the thing that will actually restart it.Two rows you cannot tick yourself
First companies analyzed and First leads contacted carry no button in any state. Nothing you can click will complete them; the agent completes them by working. First companies analyzed spins while at least one source counts as running by the rule above, and shows a grey ring when none does. First leads contacted spins only when outreach is on and at least one company has already been analyzed. Any other time it stays a grey ring, because no lead is on its way yet.The tenth row, for WhatsApp
An agent with a WhatsApp account attached gets one extra row, Leads reachable on WhatsApp, directly under the sending channel row. WhatsApp only reaches a lead who has a phone number, so the row is amber while none of the agent’s leads has one and turns green as soon as one does. Its button is Review channels. That row is why the total in the header is not the same for every agent: nine rows normally, ten with WhatsApp attached. When every row is green
The count and the progress bar are replaced by a green tick and a Setup complete — your agent is fully configured message, telling you the agent is fully configured. The first time that happens, the card collapses itself to that single line, but only if you have never collapsed or opened it yourself. Once you do, your choice is remembered for that agent, in that browser.Limits
