Leads splits everyone you’re pursuing into two lists: Prospects, one row per person moving through six pipeline stages, and Companies, one row per business they work at.
Where
LeadsProspects
Your role needs
Read access to Prospects read-leads. Admin, Member and Viewer have it by default.
To create or change
create-leads to add one, update-leads to change one, on top of the permission above.
If you cannot find this in your sidebar, your workspace may have a custom menu configuration. Contact support and we will check it for you.
Companies sits behind a read permission of its own, read-lead-companies, rather than the one above. Admin, Member and Viewer carry both by default, so the two only come apart on a custom role, which can be given one list without the other.

Prospects and Companies

Open and every lead you’ve found or added sits in one table, with a Company column tying each person back to the business they work at. With the list empty, no filters set and no lead source running, the whole page gives way to an illustrated No leads yet screen. While a lead source is running, the header and filters stay put and a smaller No leads found message takes the table’s place instead. That second screen is the one a brand-new workspace actually sees: the agent created at signup starts with its lead source already running. Open for the businesses instead: a row per company, with tags, contact details, and a computed Score out of 100 for how well it fits your own company profile. Two chips above the table, Active and Discarded, switch between companies still in rotation and ones you’ve excluded. Companies behaves the same way when it is empty: the illustrated No companies yet screen while nothing is running, and the smaller No companies found message inside the card while a lead source is running.

The six pipeline stages

Every lead sits in exactly one of six fixed stages, in order: Untouched, Contacted, Opportunity, Meeting Scheduled, Converted and Closed. Nothing in the product lets you rename, reorder or add one. The two icons above the Prospects table switch between List and Funnel: the same leads, laid out as a table or as a six-column board. Moving a card from one column to the next sets that lead’s stage, and it needs the update-leads permission; without it the cards stay put and the board is read-only. Lead stages and the funnel view covers what actually moves a lead between stages on its own. The sidebar’s own Funnel entry is hidden. The funnel is a view inside Prospects now, not a page of its own, so opening it lands you back on Prospects with the funnel view already selected.

Getting onto these lists

Add on Prospects opens an Add leads overlay with four ways in: Add manually, Paste email addresses, Import a CSV and Search new leads. Import on the same page skips the overlay and opens the CSV importer directly. Companies works narrower: Add Company is a form for one company at a time, and Import Companies opens its own CSV importer. Both importers sit behind a permission of their own, create-imports, which is not the one that lets you add a lead or a company by hand. Admin and Member hold both; Viewer holds neither, and sees no Add or Import control on either page.
The Add leads overlay carries a fifth card, Lead generation, and the empty screens on both lists carry a Create Lead Generation button. All three point at an address the app has no page for, so nothing happens when you click them. Set a lead source up from an agent instead.
A running lead source populates both lists on its own. New companies and the people at them keep arriving without you doing anything. A company appears the moment it is found and before it has been analyzed: the row is faded, its tags and score stand in as placeholders, and the list refreshes itself until the analysis lands. Finding leads overview covers every way a lead can reach your pipeline, including the ones that never touch this page directly: web forms, website tracking and the public API.
