Limits
Buffers do not widen the grid of start times. The interval decides where the slots sit, and the padding only removes one once something is on a host’s calendar.
Reaching any one of the three caps does not just close the slot that filled it. The count is checked once for a whole day before any start time is worked out, so filling the weekly cap with meetings booked on Monday leaves the rest of that week with no slots either, even though nothing is booked on those days.
Email reminders
A new meeting link already ships with reminders switched on, a default subject and body, and two offsets set: a day before and an hour before the meeting.
A reminder is only sent for a booking that is still confirmed and has not started yet. Due reminders are swept every ten minutes, so one goes out on the first sweep after its offset falls due rather than at the exact minute. When two offsets fall due on the same sweep, which happens when someone books inside the longer one, only the reminder closest to the start time is sent, and the one it skips is marked as done so it never fires later.
Switching reminders off and saving clears any offsets you had set, not just hides them. Reopen the link later, turn reminders back on, and Reminder Times starts empty again.
Custom questions
Every question you add shows up on the invitee’s booking page under Additional Information, in the order they are listed here. There is no way to drag one into a different position, only remove it and add it again at the end.
Clearing a question’s text deletes it when you save. The form drops empty questions before it sends them, and a saved question the form no longer sends is removed from the link.
A Dropdown, Radio Buttons or Checkboxes question needs at least one option. Nothing on this screen checks that, so an empty Options box gets no red dot and no message under the field.
A Checkboxes question marked Required only blocks the invitee if they never touch it. Check a box and uncheck it again, and the question counts as answered even with nothing selected, because the check only looks for any answer at all, not for one with something in it.
Saving and validation
A field turns red under itself as soon as you leave it, but the card around it is only marked once you have tried to save. Press Update Meeting Link with an invalid field and its section opens itself and shows a red dot beside its title, even if you had collapsed it. Custom Questions never does this, because the form validates nothing inside it.
Two things are refused after the form lets them through, so they come back as an error message with nothing marked on any card: a Dropdown, Radio Buttons or Checkboxes question saved with no options, and a rolling booking window set further into the future than a link is allowed to open.
