Your billing period is a rolling month, not a calendar month: it runs from one fixed day of the month to the same day of the next one. That day is fixed once, for the whole account, and it is what a handful of your usage numbers are measured against and reset on.

The block above describes the Subscription page. The countdown this page explains lives in the credits popover in the header, which is a separate surface: see Reading the credits and usage popover for who can open that one.
The line at the bottom of the credits popover counts the days left in the current window (1): “Renews in 12d”, and so on down to 0. It is plain text: unlike the rollover row higher up in the same popover, it has no tooltip explaining what it covers, which is what the rest of this page is for.

How it behaves

The anchor is a day of the month, not the 1st

One day anchors the whole period, taken from the first of these that exists: the day your plan subscription started; without one, the day your AppSumo license started; without either, the day your account was created. That day-of-month is when the period turns over, every month. The window is worked out fresh from that day each time it is read, rather than stored and advanced. So it cannot drift, and nothing has to run on time for your usage to reset.

The period belongs to the account, not to the workspace

The anchor day comes from the account that owns the workspace, so every workspace under one owner turns over on the same date. The usage numbers themselves stay per workspace: switch workspaces and the spent-of-allowed figures change, while the reset date does not.

Only three of the numbers reset

Credits, Recipients and Tracking (companies identified through website tracking) are counted inside the current window. When the window moves on, those tallies start again from zero. Everything else is a live count of what you have connected right now, checked against your plan’s allowance rather than tallied over a period: your LinkedIn and WhatsApp accounts, and any managed domains and mailboxes. There is nothing there to reset. Disconnect one and the count drops that moment, on any day of the period. Connected Instagram and MercadoLibre accounts are counted the same live way, though the popover has no row for either of them.

The charge and the reset run on different clocks

When you are billed is a separate question from when your usage resets. Your plan is one subscription; a managed mailbox or a managed domain you add on top is its own separate subscription, because a single subscription can only bill on one interval: managed domains renew yearly, managed mailboxes renew monthly, and the plan itself can be set to either. Each of those carries its own renewal date. The usage window above keeps turning over monthly on the anchor day regardless of any of them.

Where to see the actual date, not just the countdown

The popover only counts days down. For the date itself, the Subscription page prints it twice:
  • Under the price, on the same line as how you are billed: “Renews”, then the date. This one needs a plan subscription. An AppSumo deal shows its lifetime line there instead, and an account with no subscription at all sees neither.
  • Under the usage rings: “Resets”, then the same date. This one shows whether or not you have a subscription, because it reads the same account-level anchor day either way.
