Most leads arrive because an agent’s own lead sources went looking for them. The rest arrive from your site, from your own files or through the API. Three older search screens are still there too, if you need one.

Sourcing that runs on its own

Open an agent and its Sources tab lists everything feeding it: one row per saved lead source, with a status chip and three figures: Companies, how many it has analysed against the total you set; Daily, its per-day cap; and Leads, how many people it has found so far. Choose Add a source and the dialog opens on the same targeting filters an agent is set up with, plus a Source name, an Also find phone numbers switch, and (folded away under Pace & limits) Total companies, Companies per day, Contacts per company and Quality gate (optional), which skips companies whose AI match score falls short. Choose Create source and the source is joined to the agent through the agent’s tag (created and attached first if the agent doesn’t have one), then started for you, so there is no separate switch to turn it on. Adding a source is gated on its own permission, the one that creates lead sources rather than the one that creates agents: without it you still see every source and its status, and the button simply isn’t there.

Surfaces that still work, just not from your sidebar

Three older screens cover ground an agent’s sources cover now, because lead generation moved inside AI Agents. Manual Search is the only entry in a Lead Generation group. AI Engine, Google My Business and the standalone AI Campaigns (Legacy) screen share a group called Legacy. Both groups are hidden in every workspace by default, so none of the four appears in your sidebar on its own. Support can switch either group on for a single workspace, which changes nothing for any other workspace on the account. Only the sidebar entry moves: hiding an entry never blocks its URL, and switching a group on never puts an entry in front of a role whose permissions don’t allow it.

Bringing a lead in yourself

The remaining ways in don’t search for anyone. The website tracker turns companies that visit your site into leads, and a web form turns a submission into one. Adding a lead by hand or importing a CSV and posting one to the public API both start from a person you already have.
