Where
app.pipelime.ai
Who can use it
Anyone with the link. No PipeLime account needed.
Passwordless: a one-time link by email, or Google / Facebook / X. There is no password to remember and no second factor.
Before you begin
- Your email address identifies you, not the button you press. Signing in with Google on one address reaches the same account as an email link to it.
- For the email route you need to be able to open the inbox for that address: the link we send is what signs you in. The three social buttons send no email, so they do not need it.
- Signing in with an address we have never seen creates the account as you arrive, so there is no separate sign-up step to find. That account has no workspace yet: see Create your workspace for what happens on the other side.
- If a colleague invited you, sign in with the address the invitation went to: there is nothing to accept and no code to paste. See Joining a workspace someone invited you to.
Steps
1
Open the sign-in screen
Three buttons sit at the top (1): Continue with Google,
Continue with Facebook, Continue with Twitter.
Below an OR divider there is a single Email Address field (2).
There is nothing else on the screen to fill in.The flag at the top right switches the whole screen between English and
Spanish.
2
Sign in with Google, Facebook or Twitter
Choose one of the three buttons. The page hands you to that provider to
approve the sign-in, and the provider sends you back to the domain you
started on, which is what keeps a partner-branded sign-in on the partner’s
own domain. If your account has no name or picture on it yet, both are copied across
from the account you signed in with. That is the whole flow for a social account, and nothing is emailed. The two
steps below are the email route.
3
Or ask for a link by email
Type your address into Email Address and choose Continue with Email. The address you typed stays in the box, and a green line replaces the helper
text under the button: “A unique link has been sent to your email.” That
same confirmation appears for every address, so it tells you a link was
sent, not that you typed the address correctly.
4
Open the link in your inbox
The email carries one button, and choosing it opens the app and signs you
in. There is no code to type back. That link is the credential: whoever opens it is signed in as you, so treat
it the way you would treat a password and do not forward it. Once the app
has it, it is taken straight back out of the address bar, so it is not left
behind in your browser history or copied along with the URL. You will see a
loading screen for a moment while that happens.
What happens next
If the account already has a workspace, you land on your list of workspaces
and pick the one you want. If it is a brand-new account there is no workspace
to pick yet, so the app takes you to setup to build the first one.
Troubleshooting
The email has not arrived
The email has not arrived
Check your junk folder first. Then check the spelling. A mistyped address is not rejected. It is treated
as a new account, and the link goes to the address you actually typed, which
is why the confirmation looked the same.Submitting the address again sends another link, and an earlier link still
works. If nothing arrives at all, use Continue with Google,
Continue with Facebook or Continue with Twitter on the same address
instead: it reaches the same account and sends no email.
The screen has a different logo and colours
The screen has a different logo and colours
You are signing in on a partner’s own domain. Partner branding replaces the
frame around the form: the logo, the colours, the layout, and the terms and
privacy links, which point at that partner’s pages and are left off entirely
when the partner has set neither. The sign-in email comes from the partner
too, under their name and logo. The way in does not change: the same three buttons, the same single field.
You open the sign-in screen and the app opens instead
You open the sign-in screen and the app opens instead
You are already signed in, and a signed-in browser is sent straight on into
the app rather than being shown the form again. To sign in as someone else, sign out first from the profile menu at the
right-hand end of the header, then open the sign-in screen.
