Connect a Neo mailbox as a sending account. Its mail server settings are already stored, so there is nothing to look up.

Before you begin

  • The mailbox address and the password you sign in to that mailbox with. There is no app-password step for Neo: the field is labelled Email password.
  • IMAP turned on for the mailbox. Sending and reading are tested in one check, and nothing is stored unless both pass.

Connect the mailbox

1

Open the provider list

Go to and choose Add senders, then Connect under Connect your email.Neo is not one of the two featured cards (those are Gmail and Outlook), so choose it from the All providers grid below them.
2

Enter the address and sender name

On Your account, type the Neo address you want to send from. Sender name starts as your own name and becomes the “From” name recipients see; change it if you want something else. Choose Continue.
3

Enter the mailbox password

On Password, the field is labelled Email password rather than “App password”, because Neo is not one of the providers this flow treats as needing a separate code. Type the password you sign in to the mailbox with.Neo’s outgoing server sits under the field as a single line: smtp0001.neo.space · 465 · SSL. You do not have to touch it. Edit turns it into a Server settings step, where those three values and the incoming ones (imap0001.neo.space, port 993, security SSL) become editable fields. Opening it adds that step to the wizard, so you carry on from there.Advanced sending options, on the same step, holds the daily limit and the delay range between sends. The defaults are tuned for deliverability.Six settings in all: three for sending, three for reading.
4

Verify the connection

Choose Verify connection. We open a real connection to Neo and test both sending and reading before anything is stored, because a mailbox that can send but never sees a reply would not be much use. The mailbox is saved only if both pass.

What happens next

The wizard finishes on Your email is connected, and the mailbox appears on the Email Accounts list.
Its stored status is Active, but the list shows a No Schedule chip instead of it. That is not a problem with the connection: this flow does not set sending hours, and outreach only picks accounts whose schedule says they are available right now. Choose that chip to open the account’s schedule section. Email account settings covers what to put there, and Email account statuses covers the other chips that outrank the status on a row.

Troubleshooting

Neo rejected this email and password combination. Re-enter it carefully: it is the regular mailbox password, so a stray space or the wrong mailbox’s password are the usual causes. Re-enter password goes straight back to that field without losing anything else you typed.
Sending only counts as connected once we can also read replies, and this message means IMAP access looks turned off for the mailbox. Open your Neo mailbox settings, find the IMAP section (sometimes called “external access”) and turn it on, then choose Try again. Your other details are kept exactly as you entered them.
Usually temporary. Try again retries with the same details. If it keeps happening, a chip offers the other common port and security combination (587 · TLS instead of Neo’s 465 · SSL) and re-runs the check the moment you choose it.
