An email account’s edit page has five sections. This page covers three of them field by field: Sending Limits, Sender Availability and Signature.

The five sections

Email Settings is always open at the top of the page. Below it a heading marks the rest optional, and those four stay collapsed until you click one. Filling Email Settings in field by field is covered on Connect any other SMTP or IMAP mailbox, and the ways into this form on Add senders; an account whose connection has stopped working is covered on Fix an email account in Error. Custom Domain has its own page, Set up a custom tracking domain.
Add #limits, #schedules, #signature or #domain to the account’s address in the app and that section opens and scrolls into view on its own. Sender Availability’s hash is #schedules, not #availability.

Sending Limits

The gaps between sends are random rather than fixed: the day’s sends are scattered across the hours you mark below, spaced by at least the first Sending Frequency number. Nothing sets a ceiling on a gap. Outreach and warm-up keep that gap separately, so a warm-up message does not push back the next outreach email, or the other way round.
This form checks only the daily limit, and only that it is between 0 and 30. Neither Sending Frequency number is checked, so a maximum smaller than the minimum saves without complaint. The bulk editor’s own limits dialog on the Email Accounts list does reject that; this form does not.The 0 to 30 check runs on the stored number even while Smart Daily Limit has the field greyed out, so an account carrying a higher limit than this form allows cannot be saved here at all until the number comes back into range.

What counts against the daily limit

Warm-up email does not count. Every other email the account sends does, replies to leads included. A reply is never held back by the limit, though: replies leave on their own path, which checks neither the daily limit, nor the gap above, nor the hours below. So a busy day of replies can use up the number that new outreach was going to spend.

Sender Availability

A weekly grid, one column per day starting at Sunday, one row per hour. Click and drag to mark the hours this account may send in; click a marked hour to clear it. There is no way to type a time, only to draw it. Hours are shown in your browser’s own local timezone, but the schedule itself is stored as UTC wall-clock time. Two people editing the same account from different timezones see the same schedule drawn at different positions on the grid. A new account starts with Monday to Friday marked, split into two blocks. Outside a marked hour this account starts no new outreach, no follow-up and no warm-up message. It does not hold back a reply to a lead, and it is one of several reasons a healthy account can go quiet for a stretch. The rest of that mechanism, including the account’s own day off, is on Resting days, sending windows and deferrals.

Signature

The signature is appended to every email this account sends through the product, replies included, so it is not a place to put anything you would not want on a reply. Whatever you keep is cleaned up on save. Clutter that comes along when a signature is pasted from a word processor or a mail client, junk attributes, leftover style resets and empty formatting shells are stripped; the real text, links, images, formatting, lists and tables survive.

Saving

Save submits only the fields you actually changed. The exception is the mailbox connection: if the address, the password, any SMTP or IMAP detail, the separate reply-to account or the custom tracking domain differs from what the page loaded, the whole form goes up together. The connection fields are then in the payload, so the credentials are tested again and the account’s status is set from the result.
That test can run on a save you did not think touched the connection. While the page loads, the Email Settings card lines a few values up: the SMTP user is set to the From Email, and each port is matched to the security type this form pairs it with. If that changes a stored value, the connection counts as edited for the rest of your visit, and every save from the page re-tests the credentials.
Saving returns you to the Email Accounts list.

Smart Daily Limit

How the automatic number is calculated, and every state the popover can show.

Resting days, sending windows and deferrals

Every reason a send waits, from the schedule grid on this page to a mailbox’s own day off.

Set up a custom tracking domain

The fifth section of this same form: publish one CNAME so open and click links carry your own domain.

Bulk actions on email accounts

Edit limits, schedule or signature on several accounts at once, with the validation this single form skips.
